¿Qué es el extracto de piel de manzana floretina?

La floretina es una planta polifenol con una estructura dihidrochalcona, llamada así por su concentración en la corteza de la raíz del manz. La floretina se encuentra principalmente en las ramas y hojas de manzana, frutas de manzana/cáscara, rizoma/cáscara de árbol de manzana, cáscara de fruta de liqui, y muchas otras plantas.

Rhizophorin es un solo compuesto, y Rhizophorin es el glucósido de Rhizophorin. Pertenece al grupo dihidrochalcona de flavonoides, con el nombre químico de trihidroxifenol acetona, 2.4.6-trihidroxy-3 -(4-hidroxifenil) propiofenona, y es un cristal ligeramente amarillo en forma de aguja. La solubilidad en agua es muy buena en bajo contenido, pobre en alto contenido, y fácilmente soluble en etanol.

Antioxidant

Phloretin has strong antioxidant properties and scavenges free radicals in the skin. Rhizopusin, the glucoside of rhizopus, has also been shown to have antioxidant activity, with 3-hydroxyrhizopus being able to scavenge peroxides, free radicals, and lipid peroxidation. Rhizopusin inhibits the release of nitric oxide from stimulated macrophages and reduces macrophage phagocytosis, with potential anti-inflammatory effects.

Anti-Inflammatory

Phloretin and epicatechin are the strongest inhibitors of cyclooxygenase 1, and rhizopus is a known competitive inhibitor of D-glucose co-transporter proteins, giving rhizopus a potential anti-inflammatory effect.

Sun Protection

Phloretin has a certain UV-absorbing capacity. Phloretin absorbs UV rays directly but also enhances the expression of nucleotide excision repair genes. It slows down UVB-induced pyrimidine dimer formation, glutathione degradation, and cell death, reducing UV damage to keratinocytes.

UV irradiation can cause cells to produce reactive oxygen species and free radicals, both of which are extremely unstable and prone to a series of oxidative chain reactions that ultimately damage cells. Adding rhizomes to cosmetic base formulations can increase the SPF and SPA values of cosmetics. Phloretin is a flavonoid compound with antibacterial activity. It has been found that phloretin has a strong inhibitory effect on Gram-positive bacteria, especially on Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella typhimurium. In addition to its bacteriostatic activity against pathogenic bacteria, rhizopin is also useful against common skin bacteria.

The MIC of phloretin on both Propionibacterium acnes and Propionibacterium granulosum was 0.5mg/L. Meanwhile, the results of the clinical trial showed that there was a significant reduction of whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and sebum secretion in the subjects after usingphloretin for 4 weeks. The inhibitory effect of phloretin on bacteria is on the one hand to act on the bacterial internal enzyme protein system, affecting the bacterial energy metabolism and bacterial growth of oxidative damage repair; on the other hand, it interferes with the synthesis of intracellular proteins, so that the metabolism of the cell is disturbed, which ultimately leads to the death of the bacteria.
