El extracto de lúen polvo es un polvo de color marrón amarillobtenido purificando los ingredientes activos de las inflorescencias femeninas de lúlúlúhumulus lupulus L., una planta de la familia de las moreras. Sus ingredientes activos contienen resina, aceite volátil, flavonoides, taninos y así sucesivamente. Principalmente lupulona, humulona, isohumulona e isovalericácido. El aceite volátil contiene alrededor de 0,5%, que contiene 10 tipos de componentes, principalmente mirceno, que representa el 30% al 50%, seguido de humuleno, flavonoides son Astragalin, isoquercitrina, Rutin, Kaempferitrin, y así sucesivamente.
