¿Qué es el extracto de Ginseng?

Ginseng extract is an extract or concentrated powder obtained from the roots or stems and leaves of Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer. Ginsenoside is one of the main active ingredients, which can be divided into ginsenodiol-type ginsenoside, ginsenotriol-type ginsenoside and oleanolic acid-type ginsenoside according to the different chemical structures of their glycosides; and they are known as Ra (Ra1-6), Rb (Rb1-3), Rf and Rg (Rg1-3), etc., which are more than 20 kinds of monomers, according to the size of the RF value on the thin-layer chromatography. There are more than 20 species of monomers. The six most important monomer saponins are Rg1, Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Rc, Rd, and Re.

Anti-Inflammatory

Ginseng is one of the most widely used alternative medicines for inflammation. In recent years, it has been found that ginseng extract saponins are more effective in inflammatory related diseases. Hair Care

Liu Li et al. published their research results in the Chinese Journal of Experimental Formulas: Ginseng extract can partially affect the activity of thrombin and inhibit platelet aggregation to promote blood circulation. Park et al. found that ginseng extract could inhibit DKK-1-induced hair follicle degeneration by regulating the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax, thus stimulating the proliferation of keratinocytes in the outer root sheath and reducing hair loss. Ginseng extract protects the scalp and hair follicles from free radical damage, preventing scalp aging and hair follicle atrophy.

Anti-Wrinkle

Ginsenosides can significantly increase the water content of the skin stratum corneum, reduce the value of transdermal water loss, and reduce facial wrinkles. Ginsenoside Rg3 had an inhibitory effect on Akt, a signaling molecule that regulates melanogenesis, and extracellular signal-regulated kinases to reduce melanin content and inhibit tyrosinase activity.
